“It's like a moment when you gaze at the sunset, and you feel at ease and in deference to the moment – the sky, the natural wonder, and the sheer overflowing bountiful beauty that you are alive in…” –
Words—very true words—spoken when the night is young and nothing else matters, because the moment is here, and you can’t be older or younger than you are right now. You feel a sensation that time can’t take away; when you look up from the computer and glance around, it’s a peace that overcomes all your thoughts. It’s the rest of your hands on the keyboard, or the sticky note beside you, or even the origami flowers that I once made.
Pondering as tears slip down my cheek, these are words I haven’t heard before. It’s a testimony to my life, a dedication to the things I haven’t seen yet. Everything exists, but I live. It’s a ‘sublime’ serenity in every fragment, one with no beginning and no end… it could be as simple, as small, and as microscopic as a seed, yet its impact is unimaginable.
